Sum (minimum value) of formula with shared variable

I have a report that is fulling a price value from a subreport that needs to be used in calulation to determine the final price of an item. then based on the three possible sets of calculations chooses the lowest value. This was working great until I introduced the shared variable into the calculation process and now I get a non summable field issue even the the @total formula is returning a result.

The problem is summary functions are run in an early pass through the report while the shared variables and subreports are evaluated in the last pass (Printing Record pass)  

You will have to do the smmary manually using a formula

Having the formulas added to the report made it very clear how the logic would fit in my situation.
