Can anyone recommend online pre-employment testing? We need to test potential end users to make sure they have a basic understanding of the windows operating system. XP and 7. Too many of our employees do not know the basics. I would also be interested in an online training class for existing employees that had a pass/fail designation.

To what end are your tests to be?  Are they Office users, tech support, developers... ?

They will be end users, ultimately running a windows based app, but they need a general working knowledge of windows... ie how and where to save a document, minimize/maximize, right click functions, start/shutdown, open print queues to check print jobs, find programs in the 'All Programs" list, etc.

Sorry... didn't really answer your question... they will be office type workers.

Guess you may be in the States from your time-zone, but this might still work.

thanks for the points and grade.  Was thinking afterwards that the ECLD as above is pretty good once you've hired the staff, but probably a bit heavy at an interview stage...
Didn't come up with anything better though!
