The correct answer was to click on the input field a couple of times until the keypad appears. This can be frustrating when using this kind of a pad for the first time. An additional problem was in landscape mode the whole bottom row of the keyboard was not accessible and there is no keyboard calibration in the standard android keyboard. Eventually, I determined that switching to portrait mode (and waiting and waiting for it to change) allowed me to click on the bottom row of keys. I was advised to install Swiftkey from the app store. The app store has no decent seach function, so I couldn't get it. Also, since it cost a few dollars to purchase, I felt that was unreasonable. The android keyboard should have had a calibration function.

Just bought this Android 1.6 tablet. Model is M005. Trying to set up wireless password and I have no keyboard to type password. Can anyone help me find a softkeyboard or a way to hook up a hard keyboard. ? I feel like I'm back to my 1st PC.
