C#.net windows form with tab control

I have a C#.net windows form-
When I am using tab control from toolbox- do I just strectch it over Form1 to use?
and if I have a Form1 already made without tab control- and now I want to use one- Is it just best to recreate? no other way?

I have found it best if implementing tabs after creating a form initially, to start with a clean form and copy the items from the original form to the new one onto the appropriate tabs. I then need to add the methods/events into the code as well.

Just drag the tab control to the page and if you want it to fill the page, set docking to fill, or size it appropriately.
