DNN CataLook - How Can I add a Tabs Control to the Product Details Pages?

I am configuring a multi-vendor site (vendors control descriptions, prices, etc. of their own products).  I would like to add a tabs control (perhaps like dnn360.net) to each of the Product Details Pages.
In general, I want the ability to add a lot of content to the product details pages (organized by tabs) and allow users to navigate this information easily and allow vendors to edit the details of their products.
I believe this would work similar to how other sites work (for example snowcovered.com or code plex.com) where vendors can register and add their own product detail pages, see statistics about their products, etc.
Optimally, I would like the following if it can be done and is not too difficult:
-Have an area at the top of the content area that cannot be edited by the product vendor.  This will be standard Catalook information, such as product name, brief description, small photo, average rating, price, etc.
-Underneath this top area have tabs.  A couple of these tabs will contain standard Catalook information, such as user reviews, and download and version information.
-The rest of the tabs can be edited by the product vendor, such as a detailed product description tab, a features tab, a downloads tab, an instruction tab, etc.
-I would also like the vendor to be able to add other tabs that they’d name and add any type of content to.
Is Catalook able to do all of this with the standard product details pages?  If so, where do I look to find instructions to configure it this way?  Any tabs module recommendations?

Or Is there some other better way that this can be done?  For example creating my own “details pages” template?  Does Catalook have the ability to handle this (for example, adding “buy” buttons that reference the correct product, links on the product list that take the visitor to the proper product page)?

I can try contacting Catalook support next, but I was hoping Experts Exchange would be easier and unbiased about providing general advice.  I agree support is better suited to supply technical problem-solving answers.
