I am trying to restart a stopped log reader agent for sql server replication. The agent is reporting &quot;Could not retrieve agent status. (Object reference not set to an instance of an object. (Replication.Utilities))&quot; even though the publication shows up in sql server management studio and I am able to run the snapshot agent. Not sure what to do to get this going again.<br />

The replication is one with updatable subscribers. The publisher is SQL Server 2005 and the two subscribers are SQL Server 2008 R2.
