dragon 10 won't insert text into internet explorer 7

On a Windows home XP sp3, dragon naturally speaking 10 inserts text into word, wordpad, and mozilla firefox text areas. In all those places, the insertion point is a vertical line.

But in internet explorer 7, dragon won't insert text. And the insertion point is a black box.

Any ideas?

Try using Mozilla Firefox first. If it works well there, then id recommened upgrading to IE8 and testing.
