Trixbox CE Can't Install

Need help getting Trixbox CE to install. It boots and hit "enter". Everything starts to load and about 5 seconds later, I get the following error message:

CRC error
VFS: Cannot open root device "" or unkown-block(8,3)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(8,3)

Running on a Supermicro board. Bios set the IDE mode. HD is a 3.5 sata and cd-rom is also on sata. The iso has been downloaded and burned. Boots from cd just fine.

When data is stored on a hard disk or cdrom there is also some error detection code written so that the system can detect if it didnt read the data correctly. This data is called the CRC and so as you received this error first it would imply that the system is unable to read from the disk.
Its unclear whenther the error occurs after the system has been installed or while you are still booting off cd. If you are still booting off the cd then perhaps the drive cannot read the cd properly.
If the system is installed and you are booting off the hard disk then try booting off the UBCD (http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/) and using one of its hard disk tools to check for bad areas of the disk.
Boot up on the disc and press F2. Now enter "default mediacheck". This will test the disc to make sure you don't have a problem with the media.
