Hi,

We are a small business with offices in the US and in a foreign country. We want to set up a mail system for our team members that will minimize our costs? What would be a good, hopefully free mail server for a small business that is similar to Microsoft Exchange Server?

We would like the server to work with Microsoft Outlook, and to handle such functions as email, calendar, backup, etc. We also want the server to be installed and operated on web, if it is possible.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There are only a couple worth mentioning that I know about.

http://www.hmailserver.com/

http://www.open-xchange.com/

Open Xchange would probably be your best bet, although I've never used it.

Hi darryIka, Open Xchange is not free. Indeed it is expensive.

By the way, do you know any good exchange mail serve hosting services that allow for cross-border email distribution?
