I get the following error in eclipse when a compile a web project with servlet2.5 jar .
Description      Resource      Path      Location      Type
The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for javax.servlet.ServletContext. Fix the build path then try building this project

Right click on your eclipse project.
Select Build Path from Context menu.
Select "Configure build path"
Select Libraries Tab.

Ensure servlet-api.jar is in your list, otherwise add it by clicking on add jars if it is in a lib directory in your project, or add external jars if it is not within your project.
