Hi,

I am developing modules on dotnetnuke 4.6.2. Every thing is fine, but there is strange thing happening in un-installing module in un-installation SQL Script.

The script is only executing Drop statements not the Delete statements. The module uses existing tables which are shared among more then one module. Hence i cannot drop tables but required to delete any existing data in those tables. I had created delete script but this never executes when module is deleted (un-installed), but yes drop tables successfully executes.

Thanks in advance.

are your statements property seperated by GO statements?

did you check wether the delete statements execute propertly when you execute them manually? (through Host > SQL)

Yes Go Statements are there in my queries.

Also when this queries are run from Host->SQL or directly in database query windows, in both case the statements are executed successfully.

Please help.

Thanks

i can't help you any further with this, as conflicting things seem to be going on. If the uninstall script fully executes through host > sql, but only partially through module uninstall, something weird must be going on with this specific installation. Did you test whether or not this behaviour also manifests itself on different (clean) installations, on newer dnn versions etc.

What you could do is to contact a DNN expert from the community and have him analyze your installation
