We installed a Oki Data c610dn color laser printer at a customers site. When it first booted up it gave us an error. Paper tray empty. We figured it was because the manual paper tray had been opened. So we opened the manual tray and closed it and then removed the paper tray and pushed it back in. The error went away and we thought nothing more of it.
Well the customer has had the problem over and over. He said he has tried opening and closing trays and it will eventually go away after he tries many different things. The error happens while the printer is not even being used. What do you guys think the problem is?
Just wondering if it may be something simple I can fix for him quickly without having to go through the warranty process. Thank you in advance.
