Hi,

I have users that need to send from multiple email accounts.  They want to be able to select which email account to send from just before they send the email.  How can I set this up on sbs 2008?

Thanks

setup different accounts for the different emails
give the other accounts "send on behalf of" permission to the main username
and give permission so they can read the email of the other accounts too.
- in exchange rightclick on the users for the other email accounts and you should see manage send as / full access permissions

then in outlook add the other email addresses to the additional mailboxes in more options in account settings

sorry i would give more detailed but dont have access to some computers to see the exact details

The email address they want to send from is an address setup in the pop connector.  So, this has to be done from the client and not within exchange on the server.

Almost perfect directions.  Except, they're using Outlook 2010.  So they had to go to the options tab from when creating a new mail, then select the "from" button.  Then enter the email address they're able to send from.

also, it's useful to disable the email address from being displayed in the global address list by clicking the option on the general tab within EMC user mailbox properties.
