Hi Experts,

I would like a cost effective way of connecting a xcelsius dashboard report to a sql database table or view and update when parameter field is changed in the Xcelsius report.

Is this possible?

Thanks

put a web query on top of the table.  either custom written or through bobj qaaws on a universe exposing this table.  in xcelsius, tell the web service to watch the field you've mapped the input parameter to.  tell it to trigger a new web query call whenever that field is changed.  you can set your web service up to use prompts so that you can send this parameter in.
