Hide fax number in Outlook 2010

When compose a new message with Outlook 2010,  i click "To" button, duplicate records show up with fax number.
We found out that if there is a fax number at address book record.
Any idea how can hides the fax number entries that show when the "To" button is clicked?

Not a general option as far as I know, you can however prepend the fax numbers with for example Fax: and this should prevent their visibility alternatively there are a number of add-ins that profess to do the job interactvely - not that I have used any to be able to recommend.
