Failed Backup
I am getting a failed back up on our SBS 2003 server. it states that.
Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Small Business Server Backup (01).bkf created 11/16/2010 at 10:04 AM"
Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
"MSDEWriter" has reported an error 0x800423f4. This is part of System State. The backup cannot continue.
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4
Aborting Backup.

I know we just installed a 2005 sql for a timeforce clock database and they prohibited asp .net v1.1.4 and they have asp.net v2.0.5 allowed. And please go easy on me guys im new at this.
Oh and if this helps on my server managment console in SBS 2003 it says Server Application Unavailable on monitoring and reporting as well as the back up section. any clues?
