Outlook 2007 converts my messages to plain text and then sends a reply as garbled characters

I send out my e-mail message in HTML and then when the person I sent it to receives it it's in "plain text".  She then replies to my message and the text of her reply is garbled.  I have checked her machine and her mail format is set to HTML.  If she send me a NEW message all is GOOD!  Just replies and forwards get funked up.

Any chance you are missing a font that she is using for a Reply/Forward?

It's possible, but without re-imaging the machine, I don't know of an easy way to fix that.

Also, when she sends a NEW message from her machine it works fine.  It's only replies and forwards that's causing this strange behavior.

Outlook>Tools>Options>Mail Format>Stationary and Fonts>Personal Stationary... Try setting the Reply/forward font to something different....
