TPM 1.2 Cannot start this device (code 10)

I'm using Win7 Ultimate x64 and cannot get my TPM service to start.  Is there a service I need to start for this to work?  How do I reset TPM to give it a new password?  I need to enable bitlocker and this is really slowing me down.

Try disabling and re-enabling the device in your BIOS.

I tried disable and enable but it changes nothing. Do you know which service is related to TPM?  I want to make it's running.

TPM Base Services is the name of the service.

I'll give that a shot.  Before that I'll make sure all my motherboard's drivers are installed properly.

Bing!  Had an idea!!  Just stop using Microsofts disk encryption and opt for PGP WDE with a token.
