Connect two switches together

I have two network swtiches, a 3com Baseline Switch 2948 SFP Plus and a HP V1910-48G.  Besides connecting the two with a Cat5 cable, what is the best and fastest way to connect the two for our LAN (just one location).  Each one has 4 SFP ports, though maybe could use those...just not sure how.

Thanks.

The SFP ports are still only gig ports so you only need to use them if you are out of other ports as you will need to buy SFPs for them.

I would connect two or three ports together and create a trunked etherchannel.  That would give 3GB duplexed for communications between the switches.
