Using Remote FTP Server for Snapshot

I need to store the snapshot of a merge replication on a remote ftp, but under the publication's page of Snapshot , I can find only a 'put files in the follwoing folder'
no way to upload this to an ftp server that is remote?

rrjegan17,
the link refers to how to add the ftp when using the one of the windows server that hosts the db, what I need is on remote ftp not the one hosting the db server.

In order to use an FTP server for Snapshot folder, you need to configure it from Windows server that hosts DB and not on the Remote FTP server.
Can you kindly clarify your exact requirements.

that is exactly what I want to avoid as indicated in the problem. I think jmoss111 already provided a link for what I need, trying it.

TSB, glad this worked out for you; I use variations of these scripts extensively.
