Adobe Illustrator-How to change the default location of the templates?

I am using Adobe Illustrator CS2 and want to change my template location to a server drive; where in the application can I do this????  Any help will be most appreciated.

Adobe Illustrator does not allow customizing this.  If you have Adobe Bridge that may be worth looking at as I believe you should be able to associate the template file extensions and have them pulled from the server.

I have Adobe Bridge for versions CS3 (my Illustrator) CS4 (Photoshop) and CS5 (for InDesign), does it matter which one I use?

It should not matter, you should be able to configure it either way, should at least save some time when opening the files on the server.
