exchange 2003 multiple GAL filter

How can i create multiple GAL filters in a hosted exchange 2003 enviroment? I need the GAL to display both distributionlist and users.
I know i have to do this through ADSI edit, but i can't work out the syntax.. Here is a GAL wich only display users, how do i add the "OR" command, so that it can display groups as well?

(&(&(&(& (mailnickname=*) (| (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(!(homeMDB=*))(!(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(|(homeMDB=*)(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=contact))(objectCategory=group)(objectCategory=publicFolder)(objectCategory=msExchDynamicDistributionList) )))(objectCategory=user)(userPrincipalName=vi_*)))

I want "object category group" to be included in this syntax, like this one..

(&(&(&(& (mailnickname=*) (| (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(!(homeMDB=*))(!(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(|(homeMDB=*)(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=contact))(objectCategory=group)(objectCategory=publicFolder)(objectCategory=msExchDynamicDistributionList) )))(objectCategory=group)(extensionAttribute1=via*)))

So in other words, i want these syntaxes to become one.

we solved the problem by using: (&(&(&(& (mailnickname=*) (| (&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(!(homeMDB=*))(!(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(|(homeMDB=*)(msExchHomeServerName=*)))(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=contact))(objectCategory=group)(objectCategory=publicFolder)(objectCategory=msExchDynamicDistributionList) )))(objectCategory=*)(extensionAttribute1=via*)))

In another word, objectCategory=*). Now it's searching using *
