Hi all we are configuring a Windows 2008 R2 Web edition server to conenct to a backend SQL server on another box. our method would nornally be to configure ODBC and Com Services DTC, but windows 2008 Web does not come with the Applciation server role.

Does anyone know of any special configuration requirements to connect IIS Web app on windows 2008 Web to SQL 2008 on windows 2008 Standard backend

Alan.
