I recently installed Office 2010 but I'm having an issue with a few of the applications.

MS Outlook will freeze and lockup for about 30 seconds to a minute and then start working again.  I have the same exact problem with MS Word.  I'll be typing along and then.. wam... it locks up and I have to wait until it finishes whatever its doing.

Also I should note that it locks up the entire computer.. not just the application.  I cannot do anything else until it unfreezes/unlocks.

Has anyone had the problem before? If so, how did you fix it?

I'm using Windows 7 /  32 bit.

I have had this problem on my Windows 7 64bit laptop with the 64 bit version of the office package. I know its not helpfull but i ended up reinstalling office 2007 because i was having endless problems with outlook, word and excel.

There is supposed to be office 2010 service pack 1 in 2011 that may fix many of the bugs but its a very porly made package in my opinion.
