Cookies in IE8

Hi,
To enable cookies in IE8- I done these steps but nothing working.
I tried -> Tools- Internet options - Privacy - Advanced- Accept First party cookies .
I also tried - check out the Enable protected mode in Security tab. but none of these working for me.

Can anyone suggest the proper solution for me?.

On the Tools- Internet options - Privacy - Advanced move the bar down under the settings. This is also a risk enabling cookies like this.

What are you trying to do? Is it just one site or multiple sites you having problem with?

I'm just trying to browse the web page. thats it.

Are you sure it is not something funcky with the website? Are you having any other cookie problems on other sites?

I get a blank page.

I think it is the site. tried on 2 computers (one linux) and Firefox and all failed with cookie error.
