I want to pass a two dimensional array from the java side to flex site . what is best way to decide on the data structure on the java and flex side and how to do it .

In Java you can use Map<Integer, List<Integer>>
On the Flex side Create Object of Array:

var o:Object = new Object();
o[1] = [1,2,3,4,5];
o[2] = [6.7.8.9.0];

etc...
