Hi,

Want to upgrade our server from WSUS 3.0 SP1 to 3.0 SP2.  Figure with the upgrade our clients who are now running windows 7 will receive updates from the WSUS server.  WSUS server is running on a Windows Server 2003 Standard edition.

Can I just install SP2 over SP1?  Trying to find instructions as to ensure do not lose any settings currently setup for our WSUS server.  Do I need to back anything up, etc?  Any help would  be greatly appreciated.

Easy Upgrade: WSUS 3.0 SP2 can be installed as an in-place upgrade from earlier versions of WSUS and preserves all settings and approvals. The user interface is compatible between WSUS 3.0 SP1 and SP2 on the client and the server.
