Want to upgrade our server from WSUS 3.0 SP1 to 3.0 SP2. &nbsp;Figure with the upgrade our clients who are now running windows 7 will receive updates from the WSUS server. &nbsp;WSUS server is running on a Windows Server 2003 Standard edition. &nbsp;<br />

Can I just install SP2 over SP1? &nbsp;Trying to find instructions as to ensure do not lose any settings currently setup for our WSUS server. &nbsp;Do I need to back anything up, etc? &nbsp;Any help would &nbsp;be greatly appreciated.

Upgrading from WSUS 3.0 SP1 to 3.0 SP2

A vulnerability is a weakness which allows an attacker to reduce a system's information assurance. Vulnerability is the intersection of three elements: a system susceptibility or flaw, attacker access to the flaw, and attacker capability to exploit the flaw. To exploit a vulnerability, an attacker must have at least one applicable tool or technique that can connect to a system weakness, known as the attack surface. On the other hand, disclosure, alteration, and disruption (DAD) compromise the security objectives.
