What does "receiveXML" do?
What type of web service (standard, WCF)?

What .NET framework version are you working with?

In the image you can see what receiveXML is receiving as data and it uses .NET framework 2.0

Are you saying that the web service is out of your control?  If that is true, then you need to contact the owners of the web service, and tell them that they have a problem.

Yes it is out of my control. So you think the error is coming from the web service

"The server committed a protocol violation" usually indicates that you either a) submitted an invalid request, b) submitted an unexpected request, or c) there is a server configuration problem.
