Printing problem Windows 2008 Terminal Server
None of our users can print on terminal server.
When asked to troubleshoot I am getting error code 0x80070057 Source Catalog.
I went back to GPO and made sure that people were allowed to print. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The printers are connected via shares from AD. the same users can print from their desktops on the LAN. So I think it is GPO related, just cannot see what else I can disable.
THanks,
SJMP

Reinstalled printers
- Am assuming you are referring to redirected printers.
- If you install a printer on the TS, can these users print on that?
- If you create a test user in a new OU with blocked policy inheritence can the testuser print?
- Is it happening when printing only from a specific application or also from notepad?
- The error you mentioned is it from within the application or from eventlog?
- Are the clients and the server of the same platform? x86/x64
As far as the error code is concerned:
0:000> !error 0x80070057
Error code: (HRESULT) 0x80070057 (2147942487) - The parameter is incorrect.
