Trixbox CE Question

Is the greeting a voicemail greeting or an announcement? If it is a voicemail, you should be able to dial into the voicemail and change the greeting. If it is an announcemment you will have to record a new one.

HI that the point I have a did number that I use to dial into the trixbox, I want to change the greeting . Any idea on how to do that,

Sorry I wasn't that clear while typing on my phone. I was trying verify that this was a voice mail greeting that you wanted to change. Assuming this is a voice mail greeting you want to change and that you are using the built in Comedian Mail, dial your voice mail access number, enter your mailbox number, your password and select 0 for mail box options. From here you can select to change your unavailable greeting, your busy greeting, your name and your temporary greeting. To record a temporary greeting, press 4. You will then be given instructions for recording the message. Once you have recorded the message you will be asked for an expiration date. Then the system will use this temporary greeting until that date.

Hi This is not the mail box number I have figure that out, its the main number, we have a number from DIDFORSALE that's connected to the trixbox, when you call that number, you get a greeting with instructions, that's the greeting I want to change. I see it under  System recordings,
I have the following

Add recordings
Built-in recordings
My Greeting

I click on my greeting and I have the option to play it, delete it etc

I want to change it

is there some combination I need to use?
