Outlook 2010 nk2 problem

We have recently upgraded to Microsoft Office 2010, new build of PC.

I have imported the nk2 cache using outlook.exe /importnk2 and that imported all the cache addresses.  However, upon a reboot the cache file only remembers a selection, maybe 1 or 2 per letter when there should be 10-15.

If i rename the old nk2 file (remove the .old) and reimport they all appear again, but after a reboot they are mostly gone again.  This is driving me and the user mad!

Hope someone can help

make sure the n2k file has the same name as the 2010 profile...just a redundant check

Please copy the NK2 to another outlook client, and see if the file works

There's no way to determine the integrity of the NK2 officially in the outlook 2010
However, there are some third party tools that may be able to help you. Please backup an original copy of the NK2 file before perform any action

 Ingressor tool (Repair NK2 file)

NK2.info/ NK2View (View, and export the contact information from NK2 file)
