Droid Galaxy phone not receiving email

I have a droid Phone i'm trying to configure to sync emails to using Exchange ActiveSync.  I finally got it configured where the user can send emails from the phone and all her mail folders show up but it does show emails in the Inbox. what am I missing?

What method are you using to connect? Exchange, IMAP, POP?

Duh, misread the Exchange ActiveSync portion, sorry. Have you tried re-creating the account on the phone since?

I have several times. I even tried the Touchdown app.

What version of Exchange are you using? Are you sure you're setting the account using AS? If you can send but not receive then you've probably set it up via POP/IMAP. I would double check all of what I've suggested. I had this working using Touchdown and after 5 min it stop working again. It still syncs Delete folder but now Inbox.

Exchange 2003 SP2. not hosted

I got the emails to show on the phone using Touchdown, but  emails only show on the phone when they are not read After you read them they disappear.

I got it working.  It was something real dumb, the filter was set to show unread emails only.
