I have a client who has an sbs 2003 server. &nbsp;Unfortunately, her copier tech attempted to &quot;add&quot; rights to a file and the next thing I know I am getting &quot;Active directory is rebuilding indices&quot; upon startup, I do not get any further ad error and I can log on with the admin account. &nbsp;I do have other services that are now failing. &nbsp;I only have data backups and before throwing in the towel and reinstalling, I would like to see if there are any ways of repairing AD given these circumstances. &nbsp;Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

ACTIVE DIRECTORY REBUILD

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
