Citrix displays "Connecting to printer.", very slow to print to one printer.

My company recently purchased 4 HP LJ4015tn printers. These are installed on a 2003 print server (x86), using the 'HP LaserJet P4010_P4510 Series PCL 6' driver. We have 3 PS 4.5 FP1 Citrix servers that have these printers mapped via the network path \\server\printer. The Citrix servers all have this same driver installed. Printers worked fine for a few weeks, except for a few feature issues, but recently one of these 4015s started performing very poorly through Citrix. Opening the properties of this printers hangs in Citrix for a few minutes before opening, and sending print jobs hangs for several minutes also, before printing only the first page. Very frustrating to users and pretty much not functional. I re-installed this printer on the print server and on the Citrix servers as Domain Admin. I also rebooted the printer and performed an 'Update Network Print Server' in the Citrix Presentation Server console. I re-installed the printer in the Citrix sessions of the users that need it, but the problem persists. Im not sure what other fixes to try here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know Citrix printing can be a huge pain. Thank you!
