How to fix the error 0x8007000d for Windows 7
Microsoft Remote Server Administrative Tools should be already installed on your Windows 7 computer. Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn Window Features On/Off (left side). There you will find the tools.
One thing........Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 7 can be installed ONLY on computers that are running the Enterprise, Professional, or Ultimate editions of Windows 7. Which version of Windows 7 are you running are you running?
If you're running one of the correct versions then I suggest logging into the computer as Administrator and try installing RSAT.
Let me know how it goes.

One thing.....I noticed that if you install RSAT from a network drive, it will give you an error. You need to copy the installer to your computer and run it from there.

I tried to install RSAT on my Windows 7 professional and enterprise Edition machines locally with the admin account, but I got same error.
