- We have a windows network
- Around 15 computers in the network
- All are windows XP workstations
- Windows 2003 server
- Internet is T1
- Gateway firewall is  Linksys ( basic).

We have noticed that our internet speed is slower sometimes and when I called the ISP, they said we are using around 90% of the bandwidth of what we have been provided.

I wanted to know if there is any free software which I can install on my PC and which will scan all the computers in the network and will give a report as what the upload/download status on that PC.

All I wanted to find out is which particular PC in my network is doing lot of internet activity ( either browsing, upload, download ..etc )

Not a heavy Wireshark user, but it is free. Should be able to spot the systems with the most traffic....

Id be willing to bet you that you would probably find it is a small grp/few people, and should be able to build a pattern of activity over a day or two.....
