Problem installing sp1 on exchange 2010

Check with the Setup Log.

See what errors it comes up with.

Have you also tried to reboot the Server and tried installing again.

Also check with the Event Viewer and see what errors it gives when the installation Fails.

i made a reboot and try to reinstall
in the event viewer, theres no error

in the log file is the same error i describe before (Maybe it's not he exact word for the error because my server is in french and i need to translate for you)

The account that you have logged in as, is it the same account that you used to Install Exchange 2010 on the Box.
If not use the same account and try to install it again.

Yes its the same users, I only have 1 user on my server

Check the Network Binding order for your NIC Cards.
Also try running a DCDiag on the Exchange Server.

You would probably try rebooting the Domain Controller and the Exchange Server and then try installing again.

The network is ok because my exchange server work, all the mail flow is good.

but It's a good idea to reboot my DC,
Sometime we try too hard and we forget the basis tricks

Could you tell me how Many NIC Cards are there on the Exchange Server.
This includes both the Active and Disabled NIC.

IF you have more than one NIC Card then we will have to check the NIC Card Binding order and keep the Active NIC on Top of the Binding Order.

Ok I have 2 NIC Card, I change the order of the binding to put the NIC card on the same network of my DC in first.

I use my other NIC card for the OWA in the DMZ network.

I can't restart my server for now, but i still got the same message error.
I will try to reboot my server tonight

It is hard to read the DCdiag report. :)
But then the Event ID 2080 Looks Clean.

Try doing the following.
Open the Command Prompt in Elevated Mode.
Then try running the setup.com /preparedomain

Even though the chances are that it might fail we are expecting an error message with something to work on.
Note:- Run this command after production hours so that it would not affect production.

I run the setup /preparedomain and everythings gone fine
nothing in the event viewer
the exchange log file look good too

but i still got the same error when i try to install the sp1 :(

It has to be with the NIC Cards on the Exchange Server.

Since you have corrected the Binding order lets check other things.

On the NIC Card on the Exchange Server. Select the NIC Card pointing to the DC.
Check the following and make sure it is selected.

Client for Microsoft Networks.
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks.
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Mapper I/O Driver.
Link-Layer Topology Discovery Responder

Every service was already running and all the option of the NIC card was there too

We find the problem. its all about the autodiscover.

my OAB, My away manager, My SP1 issue and the property of my server issue. Everithing work BUT.

the way we do it is not ok.

The autodiscover look for owa.sirsolutions.com, but it's my external domain name. I have to change that so he look for owa.sirsolutions.net

My internal domain is sirsolutions.net

You know how i can do that??

ok i did that, the testing configuration when i right click + ctrl  work fine
but the OAB and The Away manager don't work

When you manually try to Download the Offline Address Book do you get any error message.

If it's by tab tools -  Send/receive  -  Download the adresse book

If you have Multiple Sites then you can set the AutoDiscoverSiteScope Attribute.
