ISA Problem

I am running ISA 2006 which is my gate way for my Exchange Server & Internet Access.

In the past few days I have noted that ISA seems to be disconnection the TCP Connection from my DNS Server (192.168.1.11) & thus causing Email to stop going out & in, also the Internet stops. Please see attached the error.

I only come to realize this problem takes pace when my clients start to complain that Email have not been received. I am forced to restart my ISA Server & I only hope the connection resumes so Emails and Internet Access can start, but after sometime the problem occurs again.

Please advise the solution to the problem.

When you restart the ISA services it starts working again ,that means may be it is rate limiting your network Ips especially DNS server IP.  So what i would suggest you is go to Flood mitigation settings in ISA server and put an IP exception for DNS server .If it doesn't help ,check the logs on ISA server

The attached image should tell you how to add the exception. You would need to create a computer set and add your DNS server's IP in that set. Just click Add in the flood Mitigation Tab then New--Name the Computer set, for example 'DNS Server exception' Just like the screen shot has the "Allow Mail Server Exception" How to add IP Exception in ISA
