Quicken 2009 password

My quicken app is asking me for a password.  it has not done this before.  I believe I can restore to a previous backup and probably resolve this, but i's rather not.  Does anyone know of a method other than calling quicken to remove the password or crack it?

If it never asked you for a password before it shouldn't now. Reboot and retry. To my knowledge there are no cracks for Quicken Passwords.
