Hi,

Is it possible to create a vb .net winforms app that will run off a USB, without installing on client?

My work computer doesn't allow me to install any apps on it. So I wanted to run the apps I created off my USB drive.

Is that possible?  If so how?  Do I have to deploy it differently?

Thanks

if your PC has the .Net Framework installed (and they almost all have it), yes it will be possible to run an application from a USB stick.

With such restrictions, you should consider building a web application.
