Drupal CSS Formatting Specific Content Block

I'm trying to add the necessary css to format a specific "content" block in Drupal 6. I've managed to get the .title changed for the block but I can get the div container background color to change.  I don't want it to be gray. I would like background:none;

My block id is: block-block-24

So far, this works to change the title:
#block-block-24 .title {background:none;}
#block-block-24 .title h3 { color:#000000; background:none; font-size:30px;}

The page is here:
http://www.correctchecks.com/drupal  (Scroll to the bottom. The block is "Testimonials". I'm trying to get rid of the background (gray) there.

Looking at Firebug there's always an extra "div.block" that's changing the background to #F8F8F8

How can format this block to get rid of the background #F8F8F8?

Thank you.

I would look into the CSS important keyboard, http://webdesign.about.com/od/css/f/blcssfaqimportn.htm

You shouldn't need much more than this.
#block-block-24 {
  background:none;
}

Open in new window

Thanks, putting it in the #block-block-24 root worked.
