SQL server 2000 trigger-net send-Windows 7

Hi,
I use SQL Server 2000 and on one table I have trigger with net send message. Since I want to change user OS to Windows 7 I cant use net send any more but I need to have instant information for user when new row is inserted in sql table. What can I use instead of net send on sql server 2000 and windows 7.

Thanks.

what exactly is the problem?

is this a sql server on windows 7, or do you want to "net send" to users, which on their turn, are on windows 7 ...

sql server is on Win server 2003, user computer is on Windows 7. Sql Server send (with net send) message to Windows 7 but there is no message on desktop because there is no net send on Windows 7. I want to change the way sql server send message to client and use something instead of net send, some other messaging system.

then, you will need to install some third-party messaging application on both the server and (all) the client PC in question.
I don't have suggestions for that, but you should find one, in conjunction with your (network) admins ...

you mean that I have to use some LAN messenger that will send message after trigger fire.
