total items not showing in Exchange 2010 public folder management tool

After installing SP 1 and Update Rollup 1 for Exchange 2010 , i noticed that when i look at the properties of any public folder in the Exchange Public Folder management console, the Total Items, Size, PF database, & Modified fields all show "Not availalble on this server".  The Statistics tab has the same information.

I have two PF stores - one on each of my mailbox servers.  I get the same thing when i connect to the PF store on either of the mailbox servers.  I don't know if it was the SP or rollup, but it was working fine before I installed both...Anyone know what might have caused this??

Thanks,
Johnny Holston

Do you see the Public Folder Content on the Outlook Clients.

Is it just the PF Management Console that you are not able to see the Content?

Open the Active Directory Users and Computers.

Check for Microsoft Exchange Security Group Container.

Here you would have Organization Management and Public Folder Management.
Go to the properties of each of these Security Group and Click on Members Tab.

Make sure that the Account that you have logged in as is Listed there.
If not then Add the same.

I verified that the admin account that i am using is listed in both of those groups and waited for replication, but the information still doesn's show up in the PF Management Console.  Is there a service that i need to restart or something??

Try restarting the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant Service.
And then Check if it shows.

You could also try to Dismount the PF Store & mount it back again and then Check the same.

You could also do the following.
Try creating a new Public Folder on the Console.
Post some content on the Public Folder.

Check and see if the the Status shows for this New Public Folder.

I restarted the System Attendant Service with no change.

I dismounted the PF store and mounted it again with no change.

I created a new mail-enabled PF and sent an email to it but there is still no status information in the PF Management Console on either server...

From the Exchange Management Console.

Get-PublicFodlerStatistics -Identity "\Folder"
See if this works.

If not then try this.
Get-PublicFodlerStatistics -Identity "\Folder" -ResultSize Unlimited.

Let me know if these commands worked.

Guess it is time to give MIcrosoft more money and let them sort this out.

Well if you are thinking of creating a case with Microsoft then i would suggest not to. Because i have confirmed that this is a Bug and would be fixed with one of the upcoming updates.

So there would not be much that the Microsoft Front Line Engineer would be able to do. Bug cases are being reported directly to the Development Team.

I would suggest to wait for the Rollup Update and then check if they fix the same for this Issue.
