How do I create a new SharePoint 2010 solution from a wsp 2010? I thought I could rename to cab file and extract to a new solution? There are some funny looking folders in the original solution, and the files are arranged differently, adn I receive a compile error 'the required attribute id is missing' for the feature template.xml.

It looks like the original solution had some funny things going on possibly to perplex the conversion.
