Pivot Table excel 2007 to covert in excel 2003 format
Hi,
I have a 32 sheets work book that fetches data from different sources after data cleansing and filteration of data i have created a pivot table which get refreshed once all the data related procedure gets over
My requirement is now to export the sheets containg this pivot table and its underlying data (So in all two sheets only )sheet in previous version i.e excel 2003. so that majority of viewers can see this file.As I try this by saving in compatiable mode i.e. ".xls" . Pivot table structure get lost only the values left.
I read somewhere to change pivot table version (earlier) and than save it in order to remain pivot intact but don't know how to do this please help.
Also after data cleansing steps raw data for pivot is well under lmit, i.e. number of rows are much less than excel 2003 row limit.

A pivot table created in the later format cannot be converted - you have to recreate it in a workbook that is already saved as an .xls file.

can i recreate this pivot table in excel 2003 .i.e. .xls format from my vba 2007 code
Is the pivot table created in code? If so, you can specify that it is created in the older format when you run the code.

If you can give me a small snippet of code for this (i.e. code specfying pivot table format ) that will help me a lot!
