Usually, when someone complains that their text looks "jagged" they are referring to the antialiasing (or lack of it) making the edges of the text appear jagged.

The shape of your letters and their edges look fine, however I see that the apparent baseline of the letters themselves seems to go up and down in relation to one another.

Is this the jagged that you are referring to?

It looks as if your text is "oriented vertically" which means that it takes tiny stair-steps as it goes up and down the curve.

Try selecting the path and go to Text >> Orientation >> Skew Vertical.

This should skew the base line to mirror the shape of the path.
