Check your Server 2008 box to make sure that TCP Offload/Receive Side Scaling is set to disabled.  I've seen quite a few error with TermDD 51's with RSS.

K, let's clarify here.

The target box for RDP is running 2003 Server.  When you try to connect to it from a Server 2008 or Windows 7 box - you get the error, but not when you connect from an XP box.
Correct?

If this is the case, check for TCP offload & Receive Side Scaling on the 2008 and Win7 boxes.
