Every private information store in Exchange Server 2003 has one SystemMailbox. The SystemMailbox is created during the private information store creation process and will be deleted when the information store is deleted.

Ya I already saw that article but it does not explain well what is the function of System Mailbox. It just says that it is created in each mailboxstore and shows how to open it...

What happen if there is no System Mailbox?

What SystemMailbox does exactly?

Sorry but I'm still confused. Is it possible to have more explanations and exemples.

Ya but it says:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What happens if you do not have a proper SystemMailbox{guid}?
If you do not have a fully functioning SystemMailbox{guid} in place, there is a chance that EXOLEDB event sinks will not function.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What is EXOLEDB event sinks??
