Hi
We are using a flash banner:mod_novasfh to control the banners but its quite big and takes time to load. I wanted to replace it with something else that is more simple.
I have once had a site with a banner that changed everytime you clicked any link (when page reloaded). No text, no nothing.

The thing is I cant find it again
Does anyone know how to acheve this or what module can be used

One of our fav ones is called yoocarosel from yootheme.com

As each image is an article you can add text and images to the rotator to benefit from the SEO of the text

Hi
are there javascripts in this?
What I like about mod_novasfh is that it just grab photo from a folder and show them
I am interested in plain picture only (used for people with low speed connection and I need to keep it simple for them to maintain the site.

I just cant remember the module i used to acheve this as i want to replace the mov_novasfh as flash based and it slows down the geting page downloaded

Ah you could just use

{besps} {/besps}

Simple Image Gallery PLugin

YOu dump images into a folder and set the size of the simple image gallery plugin

It will randomly rotate throught the images

You can use it multiple times an tell it to call images from different folders.

AS its a plugin its very lightweight

http://forum.joomlaworks.gr/simple-image-gallery-(plugin)/

The link on joomla extensions is broken

If you cant get it this way let me know ill send it to you as its free to use
