Virtual Network Software

I want to setup a virtual Cisco switching environment with maybe a few routers here and there. Is there a good simulator software out there that i can use?

Cobra25,

There are a few good Cisco simulators available free of charge.  The first is called GNS3 and it is free to download, but you must obtain the Cisco IOS for each router, pix, and ASA.

The second is called packet tracer and it is available to network academy students free of charge, but it can be readily found on the Internet.

GNS3:

Packet Tracer:

Site dedicated to Packet Tracer:
